Membership of the Forum comprises of Church Leaders in the East Midlands and nominate representatives and specialists. All Christians who are actively involved in church or social leadership or have a particular area of relevant expertise are invited to attend.

A starting point for our work is a paper on Theological Principles further enhanced by one on Subsidiarity.

From this starting point we have sought to engage with a rapidly expanding portfolio of Policy development across the East Midlands.

We aim to co-ordinate the Churches' response to shared issues.

We aim to encourage as many as are able to engage with these political processes which are shaping our society in an increasingly devolved English, United Kingdom and European context and in a rapidly changing world.

We aim to concentrate on those matters which will best serve our society and harness its vision for sustainable development, economic progress, social inclusivity, environmental impact, and planning.
